Blueberry Smoothie Bowl
Can you add celery to your morning breakfast? Why not? :-)
Morning blueberry bowl with celery. There is no need to convince anyone about the health benefits of celery. Celery is rich in fibre and nutrients, helps lower “bad” cholesterol, promotes healthy bowel movement, lowers stress, fights inflammation and provides many other health benefits. Blueberries are tiny little superfoods. Packed with antioxidants, high in potassium and vitamin C, making them the top choice of doctors and nutritionists. Not only can they lower your risk of heart disease and cancer, they are also anti-inflammatory.
Serving 1, preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 celery stick
½ tsp. of solid coconut oil
0.5 cm of turmeric root
2 tablespoons gluten-free oatmeal
¾ a cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup of water (mineral or boiled)
Toppings:
1 tbsp. of pumpkin seeds for decoration
1 tsp. of ground flaxseed
½ of a banana
Preparation:
Blend all ingredients and top up with water if the smoothie is too thick.
Decorate with sliced banana, flax and pumpkin seeds.
