Puffed Quinoa Breakfast Bowl
Quick and nutritious breakfast.
Perfect for those with celiac disease and gluten intolerance. Studies show that using quinoa instead of typical gluten-free ingredients (refined potato, corn and rice flour) can radically increase the nutrient and antioxidant value of your diet.
Feel free to modify as desired.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of puffed quinoa
warm water (or plant-based milk)
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp of Goji berries
1 tbsp of blackberries
2 tbsp of almonds
2 tbsp of flax and pumpkin seeds, ground
Preparation:
Add puffed quinoa to a bowl.
Pour warm water (or plant-based milk) over it and mix until thoroughly coated.
To the same bowl, add seeds, cinnamon, almonds and berries. Serve and enjoy.
